Exit a Student from a Registration

How to exit a student from an active session registration

There are three areas where you can exit a student from a registration:

1. The registration form

If a session is active, you can exit a student by searching for their name in the Jump to contact bar, and once on their profile, clicking on the Registrations tab. 

Click on the name of the active session that you would like to exit the student from. 

Then click the Exit button in the top right.

You will need to select an Exit Reason and choose the Exited At date. Once you have entered this information, click Save.

Your student will now be exited from the session. You can always re-register the student for the same session at a later date by following the steps in our Register a Student for an Active Session article. 

2. The attendance view

You can also exit a student while taking attendance. Click on Attendance in the lefthand navigation menu, then click on the name of the active session.

You will be brought to the Attendance view, where you can find your students name in the list. The very last column in the attendance grid has a link to Exit. Click this link, and complete the Exit Reason and Exited At date. 

Click Save.

3. The roster view

Lastly, you can exit a student from the Attedance's Roster view. Click on Attendance in the lefthand navigation menu, then click on the name of the active session.

Then click on Roster at the top of the page.

You will be brought to the Roster view, where you can find your student's name in the list. The very last column in the attendance grid has a link to Exit. Click this link, and complete the Exit Reason and Exited At date. 

Click Save.
