A Signature field allows you to capture hand-drawn e-signatures from your clients or staff in a form result. In VerticalChange, the Signature field consists of a box for drawing a signature, as well as a text box for typing in a name.

To add a Signature field to your form, click on or drag-and-drop the Signature field from the list of Available Fields to add it to your form. Adjust the settings as needed - you can change the label, make the field required, add a slug, or update the placeholder shown for the typed-in name.

Once you have added the Signature field, click Save changes.

When a user is completing the form, they can draw their signature by clicking on the blue Draw Signature button. This will pop open a box where they can use their mouse or finger to draw their signature. They also have the option to clear the current drawing.

After they have drawn their signature, they will be prompted to type in their name.

If the field is required, it will be registered as incomplete until both the signature and the name are entered.ย
