Contact Form fields in Field Groups can now be displayed on the sidebar
We have added in support to allow contact form fields inside of field groups to be visible on a contact's sidebar!
Admin users can add new fields by clicking on the Forms button in the left-hand navigation menu, then clicking on the Contact tab. Find the contact form you'd like to update, and click on 'Customize'.
Once you are in the Form Builder, find the fields you would like to add to the sidebar. First, toggle open the settings of the Field Group, and mark the entire field group as "Visible on sidebar".
Then, toggle open the settings for each of the fields you would like displayed in the sidebar, and click "Visible on sidebar". Any fields inside the field group that do not get checked with "Visible on sidebar" will not appear.
Click Save Changes, and you're done! Whenever a contact is created and those fields are entered, they will appear in the contact's sidebar.
Hover over status icons to learn more about a contact's status
We have added a new feature to help make it easier to understand what the contact status icons mean! Simply hover your mouse over the icon in the Contacts grid, or on the contact's sidebar, and you will see a description of what each status means!
Below are the different contact status types in the system:
Active - your contact has no missing required information and is actively participating in programs
Incomplete - your contact has missing required information on one of their forms. You can look at the Details, Activities and Assessment tab to identify which area has missing data!
New - the contact was recently added and does not have an "Assigned Staff" yet.
Archived - your contact has been archived. They are no longer participating in any programs, and form results can no longer be collected for them. Learn more about archiving a contact here.
Pagination of the Participants grid
For agencies inviting participant users to VerticalChange, we have updated the grid that lists all user information to load up to 20 users at a time and add pagination controls to access more users. These changes ensure that agencies with a long list of users will be able to load up and view your participants quickly!
New Contact Audit Permission
For agencies using our contact audit print function, we have added a new permission setting that will allow you to grant or deny access to the print button for users with particular permission sets.
When managing your permission sets, under the "Contact" header, you'll see the new permission setting "View contact audit"
Checking this permission setting will grant access to any users with that permission set the ability to click on the print button in a contact's sidebar and print their entire file.
Leaving the option un-checked will hide the print button from the contact's sidebar for any users with that permission set.
We have fixed an issue with our Numeric Fields when scrolling up and down a form. The issue occurred when entering a number into a Numeric Field and scrolling down to the next field - at times, the number entered would increase or decrease as you scrolled. This bug has been squashed!
We have squashed a random bug with our Guided Forms, where clicking "Save & Exit", "Save & Add Another", and "Next" would often bring you to a bad page, or back to the Dashboard.
Existing Feature Improvements
* Mobile support for the Attendance module
For our agencies tracking attendance, we have re-designed the Attendance module so that it's easier to take attendance from your phone or tablet!
* Task emails now come from noreply@verticalchange.com
When assigning a task to a user, the system-generated email letting the user know they've received a task will now come from a VerticalChange email that will not be able to receive replies. For discussion on tasks, please reach out to the user who assigned you a task individually.
* Visual VerticalChange UI upgrades
For users with access to our data visualization tool, Visual VerticalChange, we have made some small UI improvements to the system. This does not impact any existing functionality!
* View Attendance and Roster button moved up
For agencies tracking sessions and enrollments, we have tweaked the active session form slightly to move the "View Attendance and Roster" button to the top of the page, for easier access to your Attendance module.
