๐Ÿšฉ Only applicable to agencies using the Participants feature.

Participants are users who have very limited access to the VerticalChange system. Depending on an agency's set-up, they are typically only allowed to have access to one contact in VerticalChange and a smaller set of data and functionality.

In order to ensure that participants always have the most basic functionality to the system, our permission sets have the ability to be marked as "This permission set is for a participant user".

When selected, the permission set gets marked as a "Participant Permission Set" and ensures:

1. Any admin-level permissions functionality cannot be accidentally turned on in their permission set

  • When the setting is checked, the page will automatically block out any permissions that are higher-level functionality that participant users should never have access to

  • From here, you can mark any additional permissions that should be turned on for this type of user

  • You can view the list if acceptable and blocked Participant permissions here

  • If there is a permission your participant user needs access to, consider creating them as a Staff user instead with a limited permission set.

2. When creating new participant users, only permission sets marked with "This permission set is for a participant user" can be selected
