You asked and we listened! With user input we've rolled out some new enhancements to VerticalChange. Check them out below.

Summary of Enhancements/Bug Fixes (click on the link for more details):

Roster Export and Count of Students

When viewing an Attendance Roster for a session, you will now see a count of students at the bottom of the roster and an option to download to either CSV or XLS

Participants Report - View Saved Across Sessions

When selecting the columns that you would like to see on the Participants Report, the view is now saved when you navigate to another page in the application or log out of the application, saving you time from having to re-select the view in future sessions.

New Relationship Type in Groups

Based on user feedback, a new relationship type of "Client" is now available in the Groups tab on a contact.

Ability to Import Holidays

You may now import holidays into an existing session or at the time of session creation.

Data maps for session form types now include a column named c1/[form id]/[field id]_holidays_in_session (e.g. c1/4766_0/216595_holidays_in_session). Entering holidays in a specific format will create those holidays in that session. For example, the values below in the data map will translate to the image below in VerticalChange.

Formatting

Holidays should be entered as a set of date-reason pairs, separated by a colon, surrounded by curly brackets, with each pair separated by commas if there are multiple pairs. Dates and descriptions must be enclosed in quotation marks. A blank reason can be entered. Currently, the importer only accepts dates in YYYY-MM-DD format for holidays.

The following entries WILL work:

{"2023-01-01":"New Year's Day", "2023-01-16":"MLK Junior Day"}
{"2023-01-01":"New Year's Day"}

{"2023-01-01" : "New Year's Day"}

{"2023-01-01":""}

The following entries WILL NOT work:
{"2023/01/01":"New Year's Day"}

{"2022-1-1":"New Year's Day"}

{"01-01-2023":"New Year's Day"}

{"2023-01-01", "2023-01-16"}

Data maps generated before March of 2023 will need to be refreshed (deleted and re-created) in order to access this feature.

Ability to create subsequent Staff Users without needing to refresh/navigate off of the page

A fix has been released that now allows you to create subsequent new Staff Users without needing to refresh or navigate off and back to the Staff page.

Previously, when creating a new Staff User you would not be able to then add a subsequent new staff user without navigating off of the Staff Page and back on. The "add user" button was greyed out.

A new fix has been released that now allows you to enter multiple staff users in a row without having to leave the Staff Page and go back in to it

When adding a new "basic contact" from a Groups Contact Dashboard, the duplicate fields showing has been resolved

An issue had been identified when creating a new "Basic Contact" from the Groups tab on a contact dashboard, where the common fields were being duplicated and showing twice.

This issue has been resolved and you will now only see the fields once when creating a new "Basic Contact" from the Groups tab on a contact dashboard.
