Accessing Vertical Change
When possible, use Google Chrome as your browser
Find the Vertical Change website here: https://verticalchange.com/
Once on the page, on the top right you will see a Sign-in button. Click and proceed to enter your User Name (your email) and Password
Once logged in, you should be directed to your agency's home page Dashboard
If you forget your password, email your administrator and they can re-set your password for you

Getting Help
Once in the app, to the left of your name there is a “?” symbol. Click on that and you will find access to the Help Center
Email Us - You can email us at our general support email support@verticalchange.com or email your Customer Success manager directly
Chat Us! - Click on the message icon on the lower right of your screen. We are here 8-5 PST Monday through Friday.
Managing User Settings
Your User Settings, found in the upper right hand corner when you click on your name, is where you can manage your settings. Here's what you can do there:
Change your name
Add a photo
Edit your password
Change your time zone
Edit your notification settings
Send an email when a task is overdue
Send a daily digest of tasks due that day
Notification of bulletin board responses
Jump to Contact Bar
You can quickly find a contact using their name or unique through the Jump to Contact Bar to be taken to their dashboard.
Create Button
The create button can be used to:
Navigate the Left-hand Side Bar
Home:
This is the Agency Wide dashboard where you can see recent events and send messages to the whole agency.
Account:
In this tab admin users can update agency's profile, export notes, manage permissions, change agency account settings, and create Hotkeys.
Contacts:
This tab shows a grid of all agency Contacts including People and Groups. Grid can be sorted, filtered, and exported at any time.
Community Board:
This tab is used to track your own or other users' deadlines associated with goals through the Community Board, where you can filter the data you're looking for in many different ways.
Documents:
You can upload documents to the agency here and anyone in the agency with documents permission can view and download them.
Forms:
Here users can create, view, edit, duplicate, print, download templates, and delete Activity, Assessment, and Contact forms.
Imports:
Through this tab, an admin user can import data into the Vertical Change system. See here how to prepare your data, upload the import file, create the import configuration, and run your import.
Programs:
This tab has a list of all programs, and a user can create new ones, edit or delete existing ones, fill out program-wide forms, and create or edit goals.
Reports:
Here is where you can create new reports through the Report Builder, view and edit saved reports, export report data, and run Standard Reports.
Staff:
In this tab, admin users can create and edit users, send password reset emails, create and set permissions, and edit user’s Program and Form access.
Elements in the Contact Profile
Dashboard: Think of it as the “Home Page” for your client. Here you can write notes and see what actions have been taken on that contact by looking at the “recent events” section. For a Family contact, this page will show you what family members are a part of the family. You can add new family members here.
Details: In this tab is the contact’s Basic Information that you entered when you created the client. You may edit this information at any time.
Groups: This tab will show you what families the contact belongs to.
Notes: Reminders, updates, notes. Data which isn’t needed in reports can be written in this tab
Documents: You can upload documents pertaining to the family or an individual family member here, and see documents that have been uploaded through this tab or through a form.
Programs: The program tab will show you the current program the family or individual family member is enrolled in. This tab will also allow you to enroll the family or individual family member into another program or change dates of enrollment, if needed.
Activities (Service Oriented): Activities will vary based on Program(s) in which client is enrolled. Drop down feature displays “activities” associated with that program. You can complete any activity form from here.
Assessments (Outcome Oriented): Assessments will vary based on Program(s) in which client is enrolled. Drop down feature displays “assessments” associated with that program. You can complete any assessment form from here.

Create Individual or Family Profiles
Create the Profile
Create a new individual contact or a group/family contact - if you want to create an entire family, you must create each individual first.
Complete all fields in the contact form
Add Individuals to Families and Enroll into Programs
Once you have created the family individuals and the family group, you can begin to connect the family members to the family or add participants to a group.
Once all members are in a unit, you can enroll the family or group in programs - When you enroll a family into a program from the Family Dashboard, it will auto-enroll all family members into that program.

Use the Community Board to monitor deadlines for your or your staff's caseload
