Report Builder Enhancements
We have introduced two new features to the Report Builder: Sorting and Exclusion Filtering.
Sorting - Users can sort reports by clicking the column header
Exclusion Filters - Users can now identify values that they want to exclude from Report Results via the Exclude Term section of the Column Filters
Addition of Participants to Merge tool
Previously Participants were not included in the Merge functionality, so any Participants that weren’t already on the target contact during a Merge were lost.
Now, users can check off the Participants option on the Merge tool in order to add them to the target Contact during the merge.
Data Aggregation Admin Tool
VerticalChange Staff now have the ability to run Data Aggregation for a Form in order to apply newly set up Data Aggregation settings for past Form Results. Users can reach out to VerticalChange via chat or email in order to request that this tool be run.
Print option for CST Form Templates
Users now have the ability to print CST Form Templates. This can be accessed via clicking the link in the Label column of the Contact section of the Forms tab for the desired Form.
Importer for Data Deletion
Users can now employ the Importer for the purpose of data deletion in order to clean up data in bulk. This is useful for clearing data from a subset of Form Results.
Please refer to our Clear Data Using the Importer article for more information.
Sending Public Forms via SMS or Email
Users now have the ability to send Public Forms links to target Contacts via SMS or Email message, provided the phone number or email address are recorded on the Contact in the Common Fields.
This will allow the receiving user to complete a single Form Result for that Contact.
Please see Sending Public Forms - Direct to Individual Contacts for more information
Importing for Program Contact Forms
It is now possible to import form results at the Program level using the Importer tool.
Users can follow the same steps as they normally would for creating a Data Map and a Data Map Template, selecting program_wide in the contactSubTypes section of the Data Map:
Please refer to Importing Program Wide Forms for more detail.
Configurable Dashboards
We have introduced Configurable Dashboards that allow the managing user to define a set of components that will be visible to a given Permission Set. The available components include:
Bulletin Board - the default Bulletin Board that was previously visible to users upon login.
Tasks - the User’s Tasks as visible in the Task tab on the sidebar.
Assigned Contacts - a list of the contacts that the user is currently assigned to. This new component will allow users quicker access to contacts that they work with upon login.
Goals: Overdue and Goals: Due This Week - These two Goals related components will allow the user to better track their outstanding Goals due dates so that they can more effectively complete their work in a timely manner.
For more information, please see our article on Customizable Homepage Dashboards.
Advanced Search and Tagging
Users will now be able to search on select fields in the Contact Common Fields and tag Contacts in the sidebar with values from Common Fields for quick reference.
The Advanced Search is enabled at the field level in the Common Fields, and the selected fields are available for searching in the Contacts Grid after clicking the Advanced link next to the Jump to contact bar.
As visible above, fields are also selectable for Sidebar tag use, which is then displayed under the Contact Name in the right-hand Sidebar:
Please refer to our Advanced Search and Tagging article for further detail.
